From Chelsea SES (https://www.facebook.com/ChelseaSES/posts/pfbid0GEHPYkjaERqzKR1AWkZnJRid4iMzu1x978ZiZ6oyzPfgDWCkBG2NWH5spVphUMqbl):
Last night we were really happy to welcome the first outside group to visit us at our new building, and what a group they were.
The 4th Mordialloc Sea Scouts Joeys came down and spent a fun filled hour with us, getting fitted out in Orange, getting to explore our trucks, learning about the things we do and what volunteering is all about, and having a tour of our Headquarters.
The group, and Leader Meaghan, along with a number of parents, also took home an information pack, giving them lots of info to help keep them safe in the event of major storms or floods.
Was there a favourite, I think the trucks won hands down!
There were heaps of pictures taken as a memento of the visit, not just by us, but by the Mums and Dads too.
The crew also went away having learnt a very important number, 132 500, the number to call for Emergency SES help.
So a big thank you to the Joeys for coming to visit, and you are welcome anytime.
A big thank you to Chelsea Member David, for the great pictures, and all the help in making the night a success.
